Middlesex Association for the Blind offers our telephone befriending service to clients who are blind or visually impaired. Our telephone befriender helps tackle feelings of isolation and loneliness. Our friendly team can be a vital link to the outside world and also signpost you to other services that may be helpful to you.

Maybe you’re feeling lonely, maybe you would just like someone new to talk to? Either way our team of telephone befrienders will always provide a listening ear. If you’re interested in using our telephone befriending service or would like to volunteer with our telephone befriending service, give us a call on 0208 423 5141

We look forward to hearing from you.

What does telephone befriending cost me?

Our telephone befriending service is free of charge.

Any money we raise through our fundraising efforts is reinvested back into Middlesex Association for the Blind. If you’d like to help support the work we do, please consider making a donation, setting up a direct debit or talk to us about leaving a legacy by visiting our donate page
